I gave the BBQ bit of a break last night, but to be honest I didn't really feel like cooking at all because I was tired.  OF course, the family couldn't really care less how I feel - three kids need feeding.  I'd picked up a cooked chook earlier in the day, but one cooked chicken isn't enough to feed this crew so I thought I'd make some pasta.  I found a tub of thickened cream, and a packet of bacon in the fridge, so I added a couple of other things and voila - Kath's creamy chicken and bacon pasta was born.  Tasted great and the family all enjoyed it, except girl child who is weird with her eating.  (she sat down to some of the chicken I'd set aside for her, and some of the cooked penne pasta shells I'd also set aside before putting the rest into the pasta dish.  bleh!)  Here's the recipe for my Creamy Chicken and Bacon Pasta
