Gas BBQ or Charcoal BBQ PDF Print E-mail

When you head off to your local barbecue shop you will notice that there is a range of BBQs that have vast price differences; ranging from quite inexpensive to thousands and thousands of dollars!

So first of all you need to have a think about what your needs are for a barbecue.  Do you have a large family?  Do you have a big entertaining area where you can easily accommodate a super sized barbie?  Or, are you restricted to hosting BBQs on say an apartment balcony?

As well as size, you need to think about whether you would prefer a charcoal or a gas barbecue.  Charcoal or wood BBQs are great if you are after the taste of food cooked over wood, and they are also cheaper than gas BBQs.  However, charcoal barbecues will take a lot longer to heat up before you can cook on them, and they create quite a bit of mess to clean up.

Gas barbecues are by far the most popular  type.  They produce instant heat which is easily controlled, and they are quite clean to maintain.  You can choose a BBQ that has two burners if you are only after a small sized BBQ or a 6 burner BBQ if you are feeding an army!
