  • 2-3 cups Broccoli
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tsp Garlic
  • 300ml Cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 350g Penne Pasta

DescriptionDescription  This is a very quick, but yet delicious pasta recipe to throw together in next to no time. Ideal for a hungry family.
InstructionsInstructions  Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and add the pasta and a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, remove the chicken meat from the chicken. Discard the skin and shred or chop the chicken meat into bite sized pieces. Dice the bacon, dice the onion, crush the garlic. Boil, steam or microwave the broccoli until cooked. In a frypan, heat the oil. Add the onion and garlic and stir for 2-3 mins. Add the bacon to the pan and cook for a further 4-5 mins until cooked. Add the chicken, and cooked and drained broccoli to the pan and mix. Add the grated cheese and half the parmesan cheese. Combine. Add the cream and salt and pepper to taste. Drain the pasta and add to the pan. Toss to combine. Serve: sprinkle the remaining parmesan over the dish.
NotesNotes  I used penne pasta but any medium sized pasta could be easily substituted.
